Brew Fest

The three of us went to the Brew Fest last Saturday for the first time. Our friends Joani and Jason were going and suggested we come. We also met our friend Max there. It definitely wasn’t what we expected it to be. We originally planned on pushing Anthony in the stroller, but as soon as we saw how crowded it was, we went back to the car and grabbed the Tula! It was the first time I back carried for more than an hour, and he seemed to really like it.

It was free to get in which was nice, but so expensive to participate in the drinking/tasting of beers. We spent too much money. It was so crowded that we waited at least 30 minutes to get our first beer. We went for the one that had the most alcohol content to make it worth our money because that’s how we roll! The beer was actually really good! We hung out a little while longer while our friend’s used up their tokens, then we headed to a nearby brewery so we could get another drink without going completely broke.

We had dinner at the brewery with our friends and headed home. It was a fun day, but I don’t think we will be going to another brew fest unless they change the way they do things.
